
This website is about my hobby, amateur radio.
I found so many ideas and suggestions on websites of fellow-radio-amateurs. This is the reason, I describe here now my station; maybe that some of the information is valuable for another ham.
I became licensed in 1977. Family and job took most of my time. Since my retirement, I can really enjoy this marvellous hobby. Using the Internet, we share many new ideas and in the ham magazines we always find new and interesting topics, which extend our stations, often in innovative ways. For instance:
The time available is used for qso, build and repair equipment, study electronics, programming, operation techniques.
I am treasurer and webmaster for my local club 'USKA Sektion Basel' , wich belongs to the Union of Swiss short wave amteurs.
